"free 7 day trial" charged me

I saw that jagex were offering a free 7 day trial that doesnt charge untill the end of the 7 days but as soon as i subscribed to the trial i was instantly charged £8.99. I read that if i cancelled within 7 days i would not be charged but i have been charged instantly.Have i misunderstood this? It says one month membership + 7 day trial now on the receipt but it just shows 30 days of membership on my account .

Not everybody gets those promotional offers so, you are going to have message Jagex Billing Support to get clarity.
Go to the Unknown charge support page and use the 'Contact Us' button to get through to a message form.

it literally said "free 7 day trial" i chose the free trial option on the store, it also says "trial" on the receipt... from my experience there is no jagex customer support but i will try again i guess

from my experience there is no jagex customer support There is customer support at Jagex but it does depend what you want to contact them about. There 100% is Billing customer support and you will be replied to. The reply usually comes into the 'Messages' tab on your account.
