Hello,

I am offering a reserved spot for a Black Party Hat I will be selling. Nobody knows the drop rate, nor how many Jagex is definitively going to release. Also, like the Golden Party Hat, Green Santa Hat, etc.... We are not sure how often it will be re-released, So it is extremely difficult to put a price on something with no certainties.
Going off of what Jagex has released on this long sought after item, I will state my reserve for this item, however it will be a best offer opportunity as well. At the time I will be ready to sell, I will review this thread and see who is the highest bidder at that moment and contact them via in game.
I am looking to trade the Black Party Hat straight up for either a Green or Red Party Hat. Leave your offers below and be seeing you soon.

It was not specified which Christmas' in the future they would be. Could be next, could be in 5 years. What was made clear is that " A Very Very Few" amount of these will be released in the game. This could potentially put them to be #1 of the rarest item in the game. White or Blue Party Hats are actually pretty common. I know people from 2003 who have dozens of each color. Crackers are even more rare. But with this, WHO KNOWS...
Unless you are the programmer who is taking orders at Jagex, we can only speculate. My bid price for a green or red party hat lands a rough estimate for this to be in the 35-50B range. However, if it does become the rarest drop in the game, we can expect its price to be well north of that... Its a guestimation gamble for all of us at this point. Next week is going to be extremely interesting.

Do people really follow through with these trades 'reserves'? I feel there are only two outcomes. 1) They are truly very rare and worth more than the reserve you put, so then why wouldn't you just sell to the highest current market price? 2) They aren't rare and worth much less than your reserve, so no one would be willing to honor the original bid if they can get it for way less.

Thank you for your comment Stick. So the point of this is to get everything out of the way ahead of time. I am an extremely busy person irl. So I do not have the luxury of time to go around, posting and looking for buyers. This enables not only myself to find a quick buyer, but for the high bidder to know they have one reserved.
Of course, as you say upon the release and it is not the extremely rare highly sought after item everyone has been asking for all these years and is lower in price, the buyer would withdraw. In that case, I would not even be interested in selling it anyways and throw it in a keepsake.
