Jagex launcher not loading

Been having an issue with the launcher for a few days now, when i try to log in, it goes to load and then opens a second log in screen with the original still there loading. If i close either instance it closes all of them

Ive cleared cache, run as admin, checked permissions, checked compatibility, used task manager to end other instances(sometimes there up to 6), tried with vpn on and off and uninstalled/reinstalled game several times

I have no idea how to sort it out and spent last couple hours searching for what it might be but coming up empty as im not getting any error codes

Hmm, sometimes this occurs if there is still a original install that is not from the launcher. Can you check in your programs to make sure you do not have a non-launcher version of RuneScape installed.

Thank you for the reply, that did the trick, had to do a full drive search to find an setup.exe in my downloads folder from last year, cant believe it was that all along

I was wrong, that helped for one login, tried this morning and back to doing it again
