Ugh! So this is my second time writing this all out!

I cannot get the launcher to work - and since I have my account on the launcher the other ways of logging in wont work!

I have been getting the message:
ERROR
The launcher has experienced an error and needs to close
Launcher could not be launched due to a network issue. Please try again later.
QUIT LAUNCHER
I have read through the support page and tried restarting my computer but to no avail. I then tried to go ahead and uninstall/reinstall, so went through the "Add/Remove Programs" and clicked "uninstall." The admin page came up and I clicked "yes" to uninstall but after some time got the message "Timeout waiting for window to load."

I have Windows 10 Home and Internet Explorer 11 is installed (though every time I try to go to any page on IE11 it moves over to Edge). My father (who is more tech than I am) looked through and thinks a file is corrupt. It was working fine last week, but when I got home from vacation on Sunday it didn't work. I never play while I travel because I am afraid of getting banned.

Please help!

Hello,

I'm sorry you're having issues, this sounds like it might also be a network related issue, do you know if you have any antivirus installed or if you are able, try ensuring there's no Firewall rules that are blocking your launcher from the network.

If the files seem corrupted, i'd recommend doing a complete uninstall and deleting any of the remaining files after you uninstall (some cache files and what not).

I can't imagine that I am still logged into the Jagex Launcher or OSRS, since it has been over a week since I logged on. There is no way for me to even open the launcher and get anything beyond the "Error" message.

In terms of firewalls and antivirus, I have the standard whatever computer settings provided, and I never touch any of those settings since (as you can tell) I am not at all technically savvy.

I have been trying to uninstall, but it will not get past the "timeout" error message.

I too, never had problem before i got a New comp with MicroSoft11 (7 days old)

i got Jagex launcher/ part of rs (except) the actual "Log IN"

what am i forgetting to do?

i added old interest & to "S" mode but nothing

HELP...am having WITHDRAWS
