Why is it that when I log onto Runescape webpage I have the option of using my email or account name but when I try to log in with the "New" launcher I only have an email option? When I put my email in and use my password it tells me the account does not exist... I have had this account for over 15 years and have never had an issue of being hacked yet now I have to trust this new launcher :( and when I start going thru the process at one point it tells me I have to change my password :( any help would be greatly appreciated :)

The launcher was updated back in November to now only allow Jagex Accounts to use it, which is why there is a different login screen for it. If you’ve not upgraded to a Jagex account, then it’ll give an error if you try using your RS login.

The website has not been changed yet, so regular RS accounts can still access the website features (alongside being able to log into the standalone clients still). Can I turn in a paper without citing all sources?
