I setup an ExpressVPN router to hopefully give my home some more security.

The problem now is that when I try to open the RuneScape client it gets stuck at "Loading Application Resources."

Does anyone know how to fix this?

Are you connecting to the same VPN Server everytime? Sometimes due to getting a different server/ip address everytime you connect, Jagex may lock out your account due to security reasons. If you are on your home network, there shouldn't be a need to use a VPN, but I would try to ensure you connect to the same address and see if it works in a little.
