Hello,

First of all, please move this thread to an appropriate location if I'm posting it in the wrong section.

I haven't been logging on to RS3 recently due to busy IRL schedule. When I try to log on earlier today using my laptop, I keep receiving this message " too many log in attempts, please try 5 minutes later". It's been over 30 minutes, and I'm still having difficulty signing in.

Not sure why i'm getting this message since I didn't even sign on within the past 2-3 days.

Note: i try logging in via steam, and it lets me access without displaying the error message.

Question: Does this mean someone's attempting to hijack my account or is this a bug?

If the exact error message is "Too many login attempts from your address" then this is a technical problem.

The support article for this is Too many login attempts from your address .

If the error message is different, something like "too many login attempts, please wait a few minutes" then this is a security problem, as your account is attempting to be logged into from a source other than your address.
