The past 3 days almost every time I get near my magic tree in Varrock Palace courtyard my client crashes and my mouse jumps all over the place that I have to pull the plug from my computer and restart it. It reached the point that I don't even want to go there anymore because I KNOW it will crash.

Also, when I try to use the Jagex Launcher, at first it won't connect & when it does connect, everything in Runescape is black & orange. I then use the Runescape Launcher instead of Jagex Launched & that works fine. I go through this routine every time I try to play Runescape & it's beginning to work on my nerves.

I have uninstalled & reinstalled the client several times, but it changes nothing.

Have you tried to remove and/or clear your game cache? This often does fix the issue as sometimes removing and re-installing the client does not always prompt a clean new fresh install. More information regarding clearing your game cache files can be found here: Clear browser cache .

In the mean time do check if your graphic and system drivers are up-to-date and running on the latest available update: Updating graphics drivers .
