What spell are you using?
Unfortunately the likes of Flames of Zamorak don't get the 50% boost even though they use fire runes.

Does your opponent have protect magic prayers active? Could it be you have hidden prayer icons above other players? Life is like a camera: Just focus on what's important, capture the good times, develop from the negatives, and if things don't work out, take another shot !

I've locked this because of the bad language. Yes it's ok now and then to drop a F-Bomb but directing bad language towards others IE Jagex staff isn't ok.
