so just made the swap to jagex launcher. have had many accounts in the past and forgotten many, so linked my accounts i use and it also imported another account i just about remember the name so attempt to log into it to be told account locked must recover, so follow to recovery page enter the username its showing me and no account found so i now have some random account that i cant even remove from the launcher........ wish i never swapped this jagex acc rubbish just seems more hassle than its worth like most things

We're going to all be using this new system in the next year anyway, so lets get this fixed up because there's no going back for anyone.

So with the locked character, weird situation there. The recovery system only works on old standalone runescape accounts....it was moved to a jagex account and thus no longer has login credentials -- so cant be found.

Submit a ticket through this page , and Jagex should be able to tinker with it.

luckily though, archiving characters is a desired feature, so we should be able to have that ability eventually...just for future thought. Can I turn in a paper without citing all sources?
