Game Locks up Ubuntu Pepper

I am doing a quest. Desperate Measures, and I'm at the end of the quest, where I need to Escape from Kerpac's Lab. The timer starts to count down and locks up at 1:46. This seems to happen just as rocks start to fall down. I had a simular problem in the Warforge where rocks fall down in the tunnels. This also locked up my game, but I am still able to force close the game. It's just frozen, nothing is functional in the game I can't click anywhere.

I am running Ubuntu Peppermint 10 on a laptop. I'm not sure what to do as I have deleted the Cache of RuneScape, and even disabled textures and turned sound off in game, and it still locks up.

If anyone has any suggestions would be awesome.

Is their a way for Runescape/Jagex to move me past this part of the quest? I've tried everything I can, and it crashes the game. Its kind of unfair that I can't complete this quest because of a bug in the game. I need the remote totem part for anachronia, and I'm working toward the comp cape, so I need to be able to finish this quest.
