mini map bug?

even though I shouldn't I'm genuinely finding this funny as well as annoying at the same time but how have I not got a mini-map I've tried looking it up but the only thing I've found is swiping the compass left but that's a little hard when the only time I see a compass is the 1 on the mini-map I've tried looking around but can't see 1 they also said it's on the home screen but when I log out or lobby I can't find it there either does anyone know how this can be fixed?

I've found out from the wiki this is a very uncommon bug and most people tend to ignore it but I've researched deeper and finally found out a way to fix this so if anyone else has this problem I hope it helps because the wiki doesn't state this but if you press ESC go to Load Layout and select 1 of the defaults it should reappear.
