Steam client Stuck on Captcha

I have just installed the Steam client and trying to play. I keep getting stuck in an infinite recaptcha loop. I've tried disabling my ad blocker, disabling ipv6, among a few other recommendations I saw on Google. Is there anything RS specific I need to do?
