The Elder Kiln quest bug

unable to progress past (enter the kiln part of the quest).

According to wiki im supposed to enter the kiln cave , get some kind of dialogue then jump a chasm ect ect.

when i enter the cave i get no dialogue, i get sent to the room with Tokhaar-Hok where you do the kiln fight.

Ive tried relogging/hopping worlds/completely leaving the area/ making sure ive went though all dialogue options with npcs's and deleting the quest item and reobtaining it.


ive already summited a bug report. any ideas?
