No sound in RS3

Hello i was wondering if anyone could help me out i got no sound in RS3. Global mute is off, all the volume sliders are set to max, and Runescape shows up in volume mixer unmuted but still no sound. I have it running on windows Vista ultimate EK with an i7, GTX 980, and 16gb of ram if that helps.

Have you checked the in-game audio settings? Not sure if by "global mute is off" you mean the system setting or the game setting. You can also switch the device connected in the Audio Mixer interface, see if that was changed by accident.
