Hi. I’m thinking if taking a break from RS 3 to hit old school. I had accounts back in 2000s that have fallen off. If I don’t log in, how long before my account is removed permanently?
If I have to log in once a day, that’s fine, but if there is an answer I’d love to know.

Hey, Aeopia.

Accounts are never removed permanently if you don't log in. Your account will also be there, unless it's permanently banned. What happens is that the account is removed from the HiScores after a period of inactivity, usually, three months. Now, if you take a very long break, then the name on the account may be removed for inactivity and thrown into the pool of names to be used by other players.

If you log in once in a while within those three months, you should be fine.

Just to add to Ana's message above; do note that you can play Old School RuneScape on your current account. In any case, what Ana says above is very much the case: your account will not be deleted for inactivity. If you are a member of a clan that requires some level of activity, you might want to check with your clanmates if you wish to remain a member, however.
