So, I have 2 accounts on the same email but I cannot log in with my main account on Jagex Launcher because it overrides my main when I use that very same shared email. The only way to log in with my main account on Jagex Launcher would be if I could enter my username instead of the email but unfortunately the option isn't available right now.
If the RS client eventually gets removed, I'll be permanantly locked out of my account until they enable usernames to be entered instead of the email for the username section in the Jagex launcher.
If this is the case for me, there must be a lot of veteran RS players who gravely fear the exact same thing.
With that being said. This must be resolved as soon as possible before we all lose our accounts or rather... get permanently locked out of them. It's very scary, very.
Suggestion:
- Enable usernames to be entered for the Jagex Launcher without linking it to any steam account. (as the steam account is auto-locking me out of my main as it identifies the lower-leveled (least progressed account... instead of my main).
This would be an utter fatality for all veteran RS players. This would be mass RS player extinction. We would lose all of our years and years of hard work. For some, that's 2 decades of time and then some more time. We can't have this happen.
