So, I am currently having a small issue getting into one of my accounts.

My account was created after 2010, so it is an email to log into my account. When trying to log into said account, it says invalid password. So as such, I went forward with a password recovery. Well when i try to recover the password, using the log in email for the account it only brings up my jagex account. But when opening my Characters in the jagex account management, it is not one of the accounts listed.

It's like somehow my jagex account, has overrided the email log in for my osrs acc? Any thoughts or assistance from anyone pref Jagex related would be swell.

Yes, the website login omnibox will check for a Jagex account first, then RS email login....for the pages that use both login methods.

Where were you trying to log into that account at?

Depending on the page, the login portal will only accept Jagex Account logins. This is true for logging into the launcher, doing a Jagex Account password reset (different page than the regular RS password reset path), or loading the Jagex Account management pages.


Might just be best to import the character to your Jagex Account....then you'll have easy access to it along with your other character(s). Can I turn in a paper without citing all sources?
