Cant log in with email address

I am unable to log in using my email address, the site acts like I entered the wrong email/password.
If I click the "log in with user name" option, I can log in just fine.
I confirmed that I was using the correct email address.
I tried using a different browser.
I even changed the registered email address to a different one, and I STILL can not log in using that method.


Not only is this weird/annoying, but I'm also concerned that with the planned "jagex account" changes, if they remove the ability to log in with character names, then I won't be able to access my account at all.

So, is this just an issue my account is having, or are other people getting this too?

You can only log in with either your username OR your creation registered email address, not both. Accounts created after 2010 use a login email, accounts created before use a login name. Logins:

- Can't be changed
- Can only be used on 1 account
- Automatically becomes your registered email

Registered emails can be changed, but they do NOT change your login username whether this be a name or email address.
