Has anybody been able to get this game running on ARM64?
I have the Samsung Book Go 5g, Qualcomm 8cx Gen2 processor, 8gb RAM. I couldnt get the game to run through the steam launcher it would always crash at "Loading application resources"

I had to download the launcher from the RS website. It again crashes under "Loading application Resources" but it gives me an error to switch to compatibility mode. If I click the button to switch, the game exits out, but still does the same thing when I launch it again. I have to drag the error window to the side, click the gear icon on the bottom left of the client window, switch to compatibility mode, then close the error window with the red X in the top right. This gear option does not appear in the Steam launcher, nor does the error.

Now it does run in compatibility mode, but only 45 fps at minimum settings in a low population area. I was able to get it to 50fps, by right clicking the desktop, display settings, graphics settings, adding the RS3 launcher to the list and setting it to performance mode. To find the application, open task manager with RS running, sort by memory usage, the top usage should be RS, right click, open file location. Then click the address bar, copy the file path, and paste this into the address bar for the window to add an application.

That's the best I've been able to get so far. I'm curious if anybody else has tried to run the game on similar hardware, if they were able to get the game to run under normal mode instead of compatibility mode, and if they were able to get better performance.

So this would be running the android version? I don't think it would work well. The laptop I'm using doesn't have a touch screen. Plus I would have to enable Windows Insider, change a bunch of settings etc, just to enable it. But maybe in the future when it becomes a feature on the non-insider version of windows 11.

Great idea though. I'm definitely looking forward to this coming out.

I mainly got this laptop for streaming while I'm on the road for work. The qualcomm processor was one of the selling points for me, because it has no cooling vents, doesn't get hot just sitting on my lap. I have my gaming laptop with a 12th gen i9, and 3070ti, but this one is meant to be my ultra portable, super long battery life, toss around and get comfortable, laptop. Plus it has built in unlimited 5g.
