Jagex Launcher not installing

Created Jagex account and now have effectively been locked out of the game because the installer is not working and Runelite / OS launcher won't let me login....

-Mac
-Download installer
-Open installer
-Nothing, no response.

Help please...

It seems that having Auto Proxy Discovery set to 'on' is preventing the installer from loading. Once disabled, it should work.

Side note:
The old clients wont let you log in b/c you no longer have a RuneScape account. You have a Jagex account with RuneScape characters, so the RS login portal is useless for Jagex Accounts. Can I turn in a paper without citing all sources?
