two step auth cant log online

After going through the process for the 2 step authentication, ive tried loggin into my main account through the jagex launcher but its not letting me log on.
Ive gone to add runescape account enter my email and password, press log in to get met by a message saying error! your login or password was incorrect. ive logged onto the osrs to manage my account all ok so not sure what going on here. i can log onto my account via mobile just not pc which is quite annoying wish i never bothered now. any help would be greatful! im not sure what im doing wrong now. spend 2hours trying to sort this problem out got nowhere someone help

Hello,

Are you logging in via your Jagex Account or your old RuneScape account login credentials? Since you've migrated your account to a Jagex Account, please make sure you are logging in with the email and password for your Jagex Account. Here's the support page for Jagex Account issues, incase you are unfamiliar with anything.
