No slayer XP drops

Am I doing something wrong? When I do reaper tasks or a slayer task, I have no slayer XP drops per kill. I checked my settings, and everything looks okay. I am, however, able to obtain XP from dummies. Is there something in the settings that I am overlooking? My task is creatures of the lost grove from Laniakea. I see from my slayer counter that the kills are being registered, but there is no change in slayer XP. I see XP drops for my combat skills with no issues.
