So this is not a major issue more of a inconvenience I recently got back into Runescape I had no issues linking my old character to my Jagex account.
I decided to make 2 new characters with my Jagex account one for Rs3 and one for OSRS group iron man.
I have not played Rs3 since 2012/2014 but my main issue with the Jagex created characters and the problem I am having is in the account management tab it says Email Unlinked.
When you click the link it says
(UPDATE LOGIN DETAILS
Setting an email and password will allow you to access all account features, including the ability to play on desktop and mobile.)
But I am not sure the point of that as why is it telling me to set up a email and password when it should have automatically did that with the Jagex account email as it was created on the Jagex account.
So my main question is can I just link it to the Jagex account email and set a random password as would the password just become Invalid anyways as the way to log in now is with the Jagex account?
On a side note this should Possibly be changed as it should automatically be linked to the Jagex email on creation
