What exactly do you mean by "unable" to log in to the 1st account? Do you get an error message? First of all, do you have one (1) or two (2) Jagex Accounts? If you have one (1) Jagex Account overall, then any character that you may have migrated should be there. If the character(s) is/aren't there, then, it means that you either didn't upgrade the character(s) and/or it didn't fully go through. If this is the case, you should be able to log in to that account that you can't find using the old credentials, i.e.,
either an email and password
for accounts created
after November 2010
or
a username and password
for accounts created
prior to November 2010
.
Try to log in to that account using the previous credentials. If you can log in that way, then you either didn't upgrade to a Jagex Account or the process didn't go through as intended. If you can't log in, then, most likely, you upgraded it to a Jagex Account. If you can't find it on the Jagex Account that you are referring to, then, you probably created a second Jagex Account.
