If applicable, try seeing if you can use a mobile hotspot and connect your device to it and see if it will update that way. I had an issue in October/November roughly where my pc on ethernet cable would not update whatsoever. I had tried 2_Tron's suggestions of deleting/uninstalling the Launcher but to no avail. The support page for the Launcher was useless, so I ended up going to Reddit for help and found someone who suggested to try using a mobile hotspot as it worked out for them. I unplugged my ethernet cable, turned on the hotspot from my phone and connected my PC to it. I was able to reinstall and download the necessary update for the Launcher that way and once both versions were installed, I turned off my mobile hotspot and plugged my ethernet cable back in.
Try seeing if you are able to do this and hopefully it works out for you like it did me.
