Hello,

I am looking for support help for my main account "KorbenDallas". I have not been playing as much lately due to work and travel but a friend of mine happened to notice my account was online and performing corrupted gauntlet. I attempted to login and the password had been changed and my CG kc went up by 2500 in the past few weeks.

I have submitted a recovery request as I have a lot of information on origin of the account but have not heard back yet. I also have additional information now that I am back home and have access to more records. If anyone sees this please investigate and lock the account if necessary.

As for my account security I had two factor authentication set up for both my Jagex account and email, but after seeing my account had been hacked I double checked and found a hole in my email security. (a compromised email was in use as a backup to 2FA on email). This has since been corrected.

Overall, I would appreciate any help I can get on the matter as I have put significant time and effort into the account.

It is possible the hijacker has set up a block against Jagex emails in your compromised email so check the settings and, maybe, recover your account to a different email.

Only send recoveries from your home, do not send them while you are away.
You should receive a reply within 24 hours. If 24 hours passes and you haven't received a reply, work through the points on the Not receiving emails support page.

Hello, my account Cheddarsito was hacked a few months ago, I have not had any luck recovering it, I had a authenticator set up but the email had somehow been changed even though the authenticator was set, I did not realize this and as soon as the authenticator was taken off I lost my account, please advise.

Its usually best to make your own thread in this section of the forums as each persons problem or question can be unique to them.

But, if you were hijacked and they switched your email then they have access to your email.
you need to run scans and switch passwords and put 2factor on your email.

Then when you know all that is safe, then you need to do a recovery for your account.
Since your email was changed, that is the only way to get your account back.

So do the account recovery and let us know if you have other questions. The richest person is not who has the most. It is who Needs the least.
