RWT is RWT and as such treated by Jagex/JMods based upon finding evidence that supports your story and their reports.
Both games, RuneScape 3 and OldSchool RuneScape will notify any player instantly when a message is send to them by Jagex/JMods ... even if you refuse to go looking for it, it is there once you log in going online.
It's your decision to not take time to read it.
What will happen is up to Jagex/JMods. RWT-warnings ... if you happen to get one it's '
the one and only warning
' you will get and you should've heed said warning very much.

So ... the rest you might read in the '
Rules of RuneScape
' and '
Terms & Conditions
' as there's nothing else to be done than waiting, keeping a close eye to your '
Account status
'.

Getting a warning in the first place is a generous exception, in my opinion. When you created your account, you agreed to the Terms & Conditions and Rules of RuneScape which cover that Real-Word Trading (RWT), such as purchasing gold, is not allowed.

Personally, I wouldn't expect to continue to receive 'just a warning' because you didn't read the first one and ignorance of the rules isn't a valid excuse to circumvent them.

Unfortunately for you, it's likely you have dug your character's grave, and it's just a matter of time until they lie down in it.

RWT is against the rules, as well as the spirit of the game. You've brought GP into the game you did not earn. These third-party websites that sell gold most likely did not acquire that gold honestly, so you purchased stolen goods. That is not good.

So what can you do? First thing to do is to immediately stop buying gold from these sketchy sites. I would also suggest scanning your computer for keyloggers and other malware. You may have gotten more than you intended from your gold seller.

Do not bother trying to hide your ill-gotten gold by trading it to an alt account, or to a friend. Jagex can track such trades and ban all accounts involved.

Maybe Jagex will take into account your improved behavior if you play legit from this point forward, or they could simply ban you for a time, or they could permaban you if they feel your actions warrant it. In that event, I doubt you could successfully appeal the ban. You would have to start all over with a brand new character.

If you continue to engage in RWT, you will eventually be caught. Is it worth spending money to buy GP you will surely lose when Jagex bans you? That doesn't sound like a smart investment to me.
All hail The Empty Lord!
