Ban appeals cannot be done through the forums. You have to go through the account settings' offense history page.

There are no "no reason" bans, the offense will outline what happened. Sometimes an inbox message will be sent with some other information.

If you believe it to be incorrect, submit an appeal through that page. Do note all results are final. If it's marked unappealable, which only a couple offense types have, then investigations were done to be sure it was correct before applying the offense. Can I turn in a paper without citing all sources?
