Currently unable to login to this account using my connected email. Able to login through steam but when I login through the website itself with email it redirects me to a different account that is banned. Not sure what I can do to fix this issue. When I look at my list of offenses on both accounts they show up with different stuff. I don't have any idea why or how the other account got connected to my email but it is banned and preventing me from logging into my main account that I have spent countless hours into.

Did you create the account through Steam?
If so, have you added a login email to it yet?
If the account has been created through a third party website/app, it won't automatically have a login until you set one.

Re: the banned account
It depends what offence the account has been banned for but you might be able to appeal it.
Check the 'Account Status' tab.
If you see an appeal button in there, you can use it.

I created this account prior to linking it to steam so I believe it does have a login email. I have also setup a email for the account itself. The banned account in question I have no idea what it is or how it got there so I am ok with having that completely removed all together as it appears to be a separate account linked to my email and stopping me from logging in. I just would like my account JangeRews to be linked to my email and no other account if possible. If you can help me set this up then I would be really grateful.

There are two emails that can be linked to an account:
- Login email
- Registered email
The purpose of the login email is obvious.
The purpose of the registered email is to receive contacts from Jagex i.e. changing password, recovering account etc.
When an account is created through the website both the login email and the registered email start off the same. But this does not always continue as the registered email can be changed.

Your email is currently the login email for the banned account.
The only way to change that is to apply to get the banned account deleted via the Delete your personal data support page.
I am not sure if Jagex will process a delete on a banned account, particularly if you don't believe the account is yours.

If you definitely created your JangeRews account before linking it to Steam, you should try the tools on the Forgotten login support page to try to identify its login.
There are two buttons on that page:
- Email reminder-use when you know the registered email
- Contact Us-use when you don't know or have access to the registered email

Figured out how to login to my account. I had to select the option to login with username for my account. However the banned account still exists under my email that I would like to remove but it was not listed in the "Forgot Login Request" email I received. I'm afraid that if I submit the removal of the account connected to my email that it will remove my main account that shows connected and not the banned account I want removed. The banned account does not show up in the email.

If it wasn't listed in the list of logins you received, it means the account must have a different registered email from its login email.
This means you won't be able to get it deleted as you don't have management control of the account.

Part of the delete process is to clearly identify the account being deleted and to get you to confirm that. It would be impossible to mix up accounts. Deletion is permanent and irreversible so checks are done very carefully.

If you are using a free email address, it is not completely unknown to discover that a previous owner of the email created a RuneScape account!
