Please move if this isn’t the correct spot for the post.

I sent an appeal for my first account that was banned, I tried to login to that account to check the status of said account and received a notification that I needed to recover the account.

Im not sure if that’s a good thing as the appeal was granted or not, but I don’t have access to the original email that I made the account with as it was 12+ years ago. Does anyone have any other possible way that I can reach out to Jagex or a mod to see what I can do? Up until the other day, I’ve had access to login to the appeal attempt account. Thanks.

So, you had login access until the ban appeal was finalised? But now you don't?

You would know what the display name is if you have had recent access to the account.
Have you looked that display name up in Runemetrics?
If you can see the account in Runemetrics, it means the ban has been removed and Jagex have locked the account pending a recovery. They lock the account if it is still insecure (hijacker knows the current password).

You now need to do a recovery to get an accessible email registered with the account.
Once you succeed at recovery, you will be able to set a new password and regain access.
To start a recovery, go to the Reset password support page and follow the instructions under "If you don't have access to your account" .

If the account doesn't have a display name, it will have a temporary name e.g. [#TPN3Q4GJ].
Accounts with temporary names can't be looked up in Runemetrics. In that case, you will just have to proceed with recovery and assume the ban appeal was successful.

Thanks a lot for the response, it looks like the appeal was granted and now the account is back up. Before when I would check the stats periodically nothing would come up. I know the account name and the old password that I used to file for the appeal, I’ve tried to use the “recover account” option but when I filed for it. I don’t have alot of the detailed information for the account and I can’t access the old email it would be associated with. I just want to be able to access my old account again.
