I got a new phone and was following the guide to move my authenticator from the old to the new one. When I thought I had disabled the authenticator to move it I deleted the app on my old phone. Now I can't log in to set up the auth on my new phone because it still says I need my auth code.
You need access to the registered email of your account in order to disable Authenticator.
