Account deletion cancellation.

I've made an error on a account deletion request, I wasn't aware that it'd delete a whole Jagex account containing more than the account I wanted to delete.

I ONLY wanted to delete a single character off my Jagex account under the name "IronKano" and not the other account attached to the Jagex account under the name "OverseerKano"
So I'd like to completely cancel the request.

I've replied to the email but I'm not 100% sure that'll work so I'm requesting it here because I've got a 72 hour window.

I'll create a ticket as well.

Hello OverseerKano, I never have followed such process but I do know it is quite a delicate process to go through and somewhere in your communication with Jagex/JMods so far it is explained what will happen, or next step will be, and how the whole process is cancelled/stopped.

Please read carefully through all the steps you have followed so far to find out what you have to or not have to do to make the process being cancelled.

As long as you reply within the 72 hour window, you will be fine. The response received from the player -- if any; in this case, you did respond -- will be attached to the original request so that it cannot be missed.

"[...]When we receive those requests we send a message back that clearly outlines what is involved and offer a 72 hour period in which you can change your mind . We do this because sometimes people regret their decision or have not grasped the implications of permanent erasure. You don't have to reply, and if we don't hear back we will process the request.

However, as you replied within that 'cool down' time and redacted your initial request, your account will be fine. Your reply will be tagged to your original request so it can't be missed .

When your ticket gets to the front of the queue, we'll also reply again just to let you know that we are cancelling your request for your peace of mind.[...]"
