I have recently had issues with my email that was connected to my main account on RuneScape, after some suspicious activity I have been trying to get my email back and after finally securing all my email accounts I logged in to play on my main. After playing for about 1 hour I got logged out mid game and there was a message stating that I had a serious offense on my account - confused. I logged on to my account status on the official website and come to find out my main account was permanently banned for macroing. I appealed the ban since it was appealable. I have never macroed and don't even know how somebody can do that, but i have serious reason to believe the Hijacker somehow was doing this offense while i was battling to get my email account back.
If there are any J MOD's that are active in forums that can assist in getting my main account back I would really appreciate it. I have had this account for over 6 years and I'm almost maxed. I've spent so many hours on this account and it's the only reason I kept logging back into the game. Please help. The account's name is iLazar.
You need to use the appeal button in the 'Account Status' tab.
If you have already appealed, all you can do is wait for the reply.
While you wait, work through the instructions on the
Security tips
support page to make sure the hijacker cannot return.
If the hijacker used access to your email to get into your RuneScape account, they would have changed the password. Did you find your RS account password changed?
If the password was not changed, it means the hijacker must have used another means to find out and gain access to your account.
