So i feel like i have being unfairly muted for saying, which seems, according to the evidence, the word "dyke". The problem is that I was literally speaking to the guy named "Iron Dykee" I never cursed him, insulted him nor being offensive towards him. That makes no sense being muted for literally saying someone's name.

This is very unfair, is there anything a Jmod can handle it manually because i have appealed it explaining all this (which what am saying is backed up by the evidences) and it got denied, that doesn't make any sense whatsoever.

How is his name not changed yet after multiple offensive name report when i get muted for saying his name this is ridiculous.

Thanks

Hi there
Simm

Did you use just that one word when you put the name in chat? or did you type both words of the name?
If you only typed that one word to address the player, it might have been misconstrued.

Offensive name reports do not always mean the reported name will be removed immediately. Sometimes it takes a quantity of reports from different players (not just one player reporting repeatedly).
A few months ago, I reported a name that promoted killing a particular racial group but the player had swapped the first letters in the words. I keep checking the name and thinking "how can you not see this?"

Ultimately, the decision about a name and about ban appeals remains Jagex' decision.

I literally said « dyke » which got censored then I immediately said « dykee » to ensure I was addressing him..

Is there anything we can do to lift it up literally 9 days mute for that how is that possible. if i could post screenshot of the chat log to show how absurd it is I would.

If you said 'dyke', which was censored immediately, saying 'dykee' might be seen/considered as circumventing the censor, resulting in a mute/ban because of disregarding said censor.

That's one of the primary reasons why players should make/take a 'normal' character name, to avoid these issues from happening. You can not blame a company/employees from stepping in censoring certain forms of chats that are prohibited.
Maybe your friend needs to change his/her character name.

It wasn’t my friend was a random guy I was talking to and I didn’t try to go around the censor I just wanted to ensure I was addressing the guy like literally doesn’t make sense.

I even appealed and got denied?? Obviously it wasn’t manually looked into.

Is there anyway I could contact them and get them to review it??? Can anybody help me?
