Game stuck on screen

Heya,
You mentioned deleting; did you delete the game client or did you delete Steam as a whole? If you have just deleted the game client I’d advise to clear the cache just to make sure everything is removed from your PC.
From your Steam Client, open the Settings panel by selecting "Steam > Settings" from the top left client menu.
In the Settings panel, select the Downloads tab and you'll find the "Clear Download Cache" button at the bottom.
Then select "OK" to confirm and acknowledge that you'll need to login to Steam again. Do NOT worry as this will not remove any in-game progress.
Double check if you are using the latest available updates for your system and graphics. You may have to manually download the new update IF any is available for you to download.
