Hello,

Made a new account 2 weeks ago, played only on runelite. Did some quests, some afk training, transfered most of my funds from my main to it. Got to nearly 1000 total.

And then.. I try to log in - Perma banned for macroing. Try to appeal - denied.

So basically, without any other program other than runelite, you can get perma banned. I probably got reported by people becouse i don't chat back to other players becouse im mostly playing OSRS while working- wich means i only get to AFK and in free time i was doing quests.. but still, how do you get perma banned for macroing, without actually doing what you're banned for? Most of people will not believe me, well jagex obviously didnt, but why would i transfer all of my funds to a new account if i intended to bot on it.. this logic makes no sense..

Any one else has same issues?

This is probably the end of OSRS for me. Hundreds of hours spent on this game, played since 2004. But i don't want to spend another minute on this game, knowing i can get banned by playing the game like it's supposed to be played. Waste of money, and more so waste of time.

' and be absolutely free of macroing/cheating without getting banned in OldSchool RuneScape.

If you have not the appropriate version of runelite Jagex/JMods do advice us to use, and/or you add unauthorized updates/upgrades/add-ons to runelite ... the possibility that you will be banned increases.

Hi, Oderuh.

If you were banned for macroing and/or use of bots, then some sort of activity was detected. Since you mentioned RuneLite, you have to ensure that you adhere to Jagex's rules and regulations to avoid being banned. There are certain add-ons that are considered illegal and if utilized, these can get you banned.

Hi,

Basically i was using runelite, and the only additional add-on i was using apart from the basic ones is the quest helper. And im pretty sure that you don't get banned for quest helper.

The account was manually clicked, on 2 pc's, 1 work laptop that i have to connect to the ISP VPN(i work for ISP) and the other 1 is home address.

There is no autoclicker installed on any of my pc's, no scripts, nothing.

I played on the account like i did on this one - mostly AFK.

If i botted, i wouldn't be upset and i wouldn't be complaining on forums. Imagine the feeling, you play for hours and hours. You do quests, you train skills, then one day you wake up, try to log in and there is a surprise. Permanent ban. For something you did not do.

Do you still play the game? Make a new account, knowing you can get banned for playing it according to the rules? That you can lose what ever effort you put into, becouse some1 decides without any good reason behind it?

Thank you OSRS crew, i will enjoy your game as a viewer on Youtube from this point onward.
