No Offences - But Cannot Login Thread is locked

I am trying to login into an account I have had since runescape was pretty much launched. It's my oldest account and my most favorite. I try to login but it tells me the account has committed a serious offence. But checking on the status of offences, it says there are none.

I have never macro'd, used a bot, sold gold, accounts, etc. I've always followed the rules and I can't even get support to contact me back because there is no option for my issue, therefore they refuse to respond as it doesn't pertain to any of the technical issues they have laid out.

Can someone please help me or tell me how I can get into contact with support and figure out what happened?

So, you try to log into the game but get the "serious offence" message and can't log in, BUT when you log into the website and check the 'Account Status' tab there are no offences recorded?

Check first that you used the same login to the game as you did to the website.
Then have another look in the 'Account Status' tab. Are there any offences at all in there? If an offence is recorded but showing as 'expired' it might still prevent you from getting game access.

Probably more than a year. Possibly 2.

It's now asking me to recover my account going back in now though. Which is completely different than before. So this kinda sucks as I have no idea for some of this info anymore as I was like, 12 when I created this account lol...

Has the account been locked?
If so, it is easy to unlock it through a password reset.
You would only need to do a full recovery if you cannot access the registered email.

Try looking the account up in RuneMetrics and see if you can see any activity that shouldn't be there (only shows activity while the account is a member).

@ Gwenanub - Please post your own thread to describe the issue you are having.

In the Community Led Support Forums, it is much easier to give everyone the help they are looking for if each user creates their own thread about their issue.

Every user's situation is somewhat unique, and it can get confusing as to which post is to which user, when more than one player is trying to get help on the same thread. Advice given to the original player may not apply in each case.

Also, when tacking your situation on to another player's thread, those helping may recognize the thread as one where the issue had already been solved, and may not notice that a different situation has been added to that thread.
