Upon trying to log in today, I was asked for an authenticator code... which I never set up. So after disabling that I was able to log in to my account as neither my email or password were changed. Immediately I saw that my user interface was changed to legacy mode for some reason. When I tried to access my bank I put in the PIN and got a message saying that it was accepted and that the request to delete it had been cancelled.

The thing is, I still had GP and other stuff in my inventory. A full armor set equipped. Nothing seems to have been stolen. I just don't understand why, if I was hacked, they'd... add additional security to my account?

Uh, I mean, I've changed my password, logged out of all sessions, set up my own authenticator, all that good stuff. But uh, should I contact support or something? Is there a log that shows IP addresses? Even it it doesn't look like anything is missing, that doesn't change the fact they could have been spamming some nasty things in the chat to get me banned, if that was the real intention.

I don't share my info with anyone, haven't visited any strange sites recently, don't seem to have any malware... I don't interact with anybody, really. I haven't done anything out of the ordinary. So one day, out of nowhere... it just seems random, you know? Like they just guessed.

Hi there
Spicedrop

Your account most certainly was accessed by a hijacker.
They can't do anything until they get your Bank PIN removed and they clearly didn't know your PIN.

Hooray for Bank PINs! They are truly the last line of defence to protect your items/gp if a hijacker has penetrated your security.
If you had more security set up i.e. your own Authenticator, the hijacker would not have been able to log in at all! ;)

Probably changing your password and setting up Authenticator is all you need to do but, I recommend you work through the points on the Security tips support page, just to cover all security bases.

Do you use that same password on other logins? If so, change it on your other logins also.
They wouldn't have just guessed your login and password, there would have been a leak of information somehow.
