The Ruinous Powers have passed the poll, players have been looking forward for the quest release for a long time and have tested the prayers out in the beta.

Why would you not release them now after all the effort that went in to them?

They would have been a really good addition to the game.

Tweeks could still have been made along the way based on feedback?

Doesn't make much sense to release this quest without the prayers?
Isn't it better to postpone the release of DT2 entirely to a later date?

Good! them prayers were horrible! Just give us turmoil and soulsplit. Why you always gotta be so extra.

Give us summoning, ya know like the original game?

This forresty and sailing sounds so bad. Defo an L for creativity

Forresty - Another invent slot for boosts that make no sense or that we cant get anyway. Just add summoning? 10x better

Sailing - Yeah lets get on a boat to get around places we can already get around for years? like come on team lol.

Just giving yourself extra work. Bosses content quests and areas are what we need. If you bored just make mini games and stop fking with the original content

Would it be possible to adjust the quest requirements for DS2 in some way instead of just skills? I and many other zerk's messed up by not doing Fight Arena. I have 275QP despite my account limitations but doing Fight Arena would get me 62 attack and ruin the build

Is it possible to either make Fight Arena attack XP optional or remove it as a requirement for DT2? I was really looking forward to the quest and the new content that it'll bring into the game but I won't be able to partake in it

There's a newspost that details the concerns you have over its cancellation. The greenlight poll passed and they even admitted that the final poll would have likely passed as well. The point they made was that they are also responsible guardians of the game in terms of powercreep while also emphasising that new prayers are definitely something they'll consider in the future so keep up your feedback to them in the meantime! :)

Yes add the skill that was the initial downfall of Rs2 that will surely be a great move instead of adding content that literally has something for everyone like sailing; that has endless content even when it maxed out.,and isn't just a combat skill that ruins pvp, bosses and raids.

So glad the polls require a majority vote or this game would either be 1 server with 100 people still playing 2007scape or well on its way to EOC runescape.

I do agree power creep is what is hurting this game(remember what dungeoneering power creep did to rs2?) and we keep getting more and more overpowered. Instead of just straight-up +stat increases we need to go lateral instead. We already crossed multiple thresholds like no dragon claws(hell there even is a joke claws for when they said they wouldn't add it), we now have vesta etc. The skilling prayers were a good idea though.
