These events will take you all across the kingdom of Great Kourend and all have a part to play in the next chapter. It's up to you to decide what style of video it will be, from Documentary to Parody, we want to see it all! The most important thing is to have fun and create something you think others will enjoy!
1.5 To enter the competition, you need to create a video (lasting no longer than 8 minutes) detailing the events leading up to A Kingdom Divided. The top four login screens will receive Amazon gift cards and membership to OldSchool RuneScape.
1.6 All information detailed on any of Jagex websites (including but not limited to jagex.com, www.runescape.com and www.oldschool.runescape.com, hereafter referred to as “Jagex Websites”), digital platforms, games or apps or published in any of our newsletters in relation to the entry requirements for this competition form part of these terms. In the event of any discrepancy or conflict between that information and these competition terms, the specific competition terms and conditions will prevail.
1.7 Facebook (or any other social media site) do not endorse or sponsor any competitions hosted by Jagex and we are not affiliated with Facebook in any way (or any other social media site).
2 HOW TO ENTER
2.1 The competition will run from 13:00 BST on 19 May 2021 (the “Opening Date”) to 23:59 BST on 4 June 2021 (the “Closing Date”) inclusive.
2.2 All competition entries must be received by Jagex by no later than 23:59 on the Closing Date. All competition entries received after the Closing Date are automatically disqualified.
2.3 No purchase is necessary to enter the competition and there is no charge to register for use of a Jagex Website.
2.4 To enter the competition, you need to create a video (lasting no longer than 8 minutes) detailing the events leading up to A Kingdom Divided. In order to enter the competition, entrants can submit their entries, together with a link to their video on YouTube, by:

2.5 All entries must be accompanied by your name, address and either a telephone number or email address.
2.6 Videos must be uploaded to YouTube, but can be either unlisted or public.

2.8 Jagex will be making the Oculus Orb available to all entrants following the update to OldSchool RuneScape on May 19th. This allows entrants total control over the in-game camera. To redeem this item and use it within the competition you must speak to the NPC Diango in Draynor Village.
2.9 Jagex will not accept:
2.9.1 responsibility for competition entries that are lost, mislaid, damaged or delayed in transit, regardless of cause, including, for example, as a result of any postal failure, equipment failure, technical malfunction, systems, satellite, network, server, computer hardware or software failure of any kind; or
2.9.2 proof of posting or transmission as proof of receipt of entry to the competition.
2.10 By submitting a competition entry, you are agreeing to be bound by these terms and conditions.

3 JUDGES
3.1 The competition entries will be judged by a panel of judges appointed by Jagex.
3.2 Following the Closing Date, the judges will select 4 (four) competition entries based on the entries which display the most artistic skill and best demonstrate the spirit of this Competition and rank these in their preferred order by poll vote between 7 June 2021 and 11 June 2021.
3.3 Following the 11 June 2021 the competition entries will be ranked based on the number of votes they have received during the poll vote, with 1st place being awarded to the competition entry with the highest number of votes, 2nd place being awarded to the competition entry with the second highest number of votes, 3rd place being awarded to the competition entry with the third highest number of votes and 4th place being awarded to the competition with the fourth highest number of votes.
3.4 The decision of the panel of judges (acting reasonably) will be final.

4 ELIGIBILITY

7.3 Jagex will make all reasonable efforts to contact the winner. If the winner cannot be contacted or is not available or has not claimed their prize within 14 of days of the Announcement Date, Jagex reserves the right to offer the prize to the next eligible entrant selected from the correct entries that were received before the Closing Date.

8 LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
8.1 Insofar as is permitted by law, Jagex, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of Jagex, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. If the winner cannot be contacted or is not available or has not claimed their prize within 14 of days of the Announcement Date, Jagex reserves the right to offer the prize to the next eligible entrant selected from the correct entries that were received before the Closing Date.
7.4 Jagex does not accept any responsibility if you are not able to take up the prize.
8 LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
8.1 Insofar as is permitted by law, Jagex, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of Jagex, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.
9 OWNERSHIP OF COMPETITION ENTRIES AND INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS
9.1 Jagex does not claim any rights of ownership in your competition entry, subject to paragraph 9.2.
9.2 You agree that Jagex may, but is not required to, make your entry available on any Jagex Website and any other media, whether now known or invented in the future, and in connection with any publicity of the competition. You agree to grant Jagex a non-exclusive, worldwide, irrevocable licence, for the full period of any intellectual property rights in the competition entry and any accompanying materials, to use, display, publish, transmit, copy, edit, alter, store, re-format and sub-licence the competition entry and any accompanying materials for such purposes.
10 DATA PROTECTION AND PUBLICITY
10.1 Jagex will only process your personal information as set out in its privacy policy. See also paragraphs 6.3 and 6.5, with regard to the announcement of winners.
11 GENERAL
11.1 If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these terms and conditions, Jagex may, at its sole discretion, reserve the right to exclude you from participating in the competition.
11.2 Jagex reserves the right to hold void, suspend, cancel, or amend the prize competition where it becomes necessary to do so, including if any law or regulation is inconsistent with these terms or where any law or regulation makes Jagex’s performance of these terms impossible, unlawful, illegal or unethical.
11.3 These terms and conditions shall be governed by the law of England and Wales, and the parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
