Extremely disappointed to see that while slayer content is up for the poll and being tweaked again, that you're still neglecting ""temporarily"" disabled existing content.

Slayer Partners was a great social mechanic and deserves to be fixed. Even if it means temporarily making it available without any benefits, literally just giving two players the same task, no combining block lists or anything. Lower level decides the task pool. Tasks are only blocked if BOTH players have it blocked.

I have not trained slayer since you disabled the system. I'm playing together with a partner and we're trying to do all the things together. You really ruined it by simply taking away the system instead of just fixing what was being abused about it.



TL;DR: Bring back Slayer Partners, this has been a far too long of a "temporarily unavailable"

Hey just read the new blog and gotta say i love a lot of these ideas! Particularly the slayer updates and the tome of water i think are great ideas. Storing slayer tasks is something I've always wanted and since slayer is such a popular skill i think that will go over quite well. The tome of water changed should add some variety to using mage witch has mostly bin the least utilized combat style and this would add some much needed utility to it. Not going to go into every single question but a lot of the cox qol stuff sounds good to only #19 im not a fan of because the drop rates do not need changed in anyway. All in all these sound like some great ideas you guys got me excited for future updates! Thank you Do you believe in “gravity”?

I was thinking about untradeble scrolls you could buy with slayer points, to teleport directly to the slayer task?monsters

ofcourse, we would have to talk about howmany slayer points it would cost, in order to make sure its not OP

I LOVE what I'm seeing in this blog post. Well, at least for content I've ever touched. There's a lot that's way too endgame for me right now and I plan to skip those questions (or ask my end game friends what they want me to vote for :P ) but for content that's relevant to my tier and style of play, I think a lot of it is super well done and plan to vote yes. Woohoo!

Here's some changes I'd like to see to what's currently in the poll.

Q2. Slayer Helms.
General. Make sure they each coordinate color-wise with both the severed head and popular-enough 3rd or 4th quarter gear. E.g. the sire head and dragon armor; vorkath and crystal armor or quest cape; hydra and ancient god d'hide; etc. I'm only in the 3rd quarter (my levels are mostly in the 50-75 range) so I'm not entirely familiar with all the best combat fashionscape options.

Have you ever tried to match a black jacket with black shirt, but they were just barely too different of blacks and it totally clashed? Trying to avoid that problem.

KBD. The forehead spike is cool, but other than '3 horns cause 3 heads,' I don't get it. None of the KBD heads has 3 horns. Here's some other ideas: 2 rows of 3 KBD horns each; longer dark grey lines on the sides of the mouth because of his cute little beards; three little beards at the back end of the helm, which would drape down over the collar like cool norse guy hair?

KQ. The two vertical orange lines on the side of the slayer helm mouth. I'd LOVE to see those shaped as pincers. The two light green antennae, I'd also love to see those even longer. So they're clearly antennae and not just thin spikes. The KQ's antennae go to the back of her head or farther in both forms. I think that justifies having them go beyond the top pointy part of the helm and farther back towards the back end of the helm. I hope that description makes sense. AKA instead of 20cm long, maybe more like 25-30?

Q41. Ash Scatterer.
Please add Vampiric Ashes to the list as well. I'd propose that as these ashes count for 100-200 prayer XP each in the Hallowed Sepulchre, they should be considered a base 50-100 XP each sans sepulchre, and thus 25-50 XP each when scattered.

With the expansion of creatures in the games's mechanical (not just narrative) Demon tag, I'd hope that the ash scatterer works for all of them, not just the big scary bois with "demon" in the name.

I'd also love if Mazchna has some unique dialogue if you have the ash scatterer in your inventory when you speak with him, as he is one of the only friendly demon characters in-game players are likely to interact with regularly. Perhaps something about "Is that meant to be a threat? I am a great slayer master. Your ash scatterer does not scare me." Heck, perhaps even have similar lines added to other NPC demons and imps you encounter, such as that girl in Slepe dungeon or the imp in Puro-Puro. But Mazchna is second to Zanik as my favorite NPC, so he's the most important one to me. :)

Aaaaand those are all my additional thoughts on what's currently in the blog.

It might be a little late, but I'd love if the Pharoah's Sceptre was boosted much like the Skull Sceptre is doing.

Current Pharoah's Sceptre:
Two handed. +10 mage attack. +0% mage damage. ~2.8m on the GE. Mostly useful for teleporting and building an occult altar in your POH.

Reworked Pharoah's Sceptre:
One handed. +15 mage attack. Everything else stays the same.

Compare to the Ancient Staff:
One handed. +15 mage attack. +0% mage damage. ~0.06m on the GE.

Compare to the Master Wand:
One handed. +20 mage attack. +0% mage damage. ~3.4m on the GE.

Compare to the Nightmare Staff:
One handed. +16 mage attack. +15% mage damage. ~32m on the GE.

Compare to the Kodai Wand:
One handed. +28 mage attack. +15% mage damage. ~82m on the GE.

Why these changes?
One handed means you can use it in tandem with iconic desert mage gear like the offhand Mage's Book or Tome of Water (useful for the water runes in ice spells, even though it doesn't increase the damage thereof).

Meta Implications.
The 'cheap' ancients autocaster would still be the ancient staff. This would simply be an ancient staff that does not have a negative prayer bonus, and can also teleport you. This may be useful in PVP situations, but most PVPers don't bring multimillion gp gear with them. This would largely be a narrative/world-building change. Essentially allows players to have the offensive capability of an ancient staff AND desert teleports, but only take 1 bank space.

Narrative Implications.
This suggests a pharaoh at some point was a spellcaster and was allied with the Zarosians. Well, it can already autocast standard spells (so he was definitely a caster), and it teleports to Jaldraocht (so probably was allied with the Zarosians). This probably doesn't suggest any new narratives to worry about.

If it's too late to add this to the current blog, consider polling it as part of the Desert Treasure 2 update eventually.

Q3 Should a unique animation be added for both Hydra’s Ranged and Magic attack styles, adding an alternate way of identifying which style is going to be used next?

Could you change the question so it includes normal hydras aswell?

Please add an in-game item to allow this change to slayer helms. I have been wearing my green slayer helm for years and I like the way it looks now. I don't want the gold to look "orange" and have big goofy horns. You can make everyone happy by allowing us to have the option to change how it looks. Thank you very much for reading my concern.
