been searching and still can not find what steam is?
a game client you can get, but not what it is.
is it like runelite?
what is it?
what improvements does steam have ?
Is Steam going to have its' own client or will it simply link to download the existing old school client?

steam punk or just a pile?
Well, it appears we're using the wrong platform if we would like answers...
I play a number of Steam games and have had no real problems with them.
It appears that jagex wants Steam's users to play old school... with the thought that Steam gamers don't already play?
The biggest obstacle that might create for jagex is that by promoting Steam in hopes of getting new players... it might very well be Steam that gets the new players out of the 'deal'.
Steam has a fair few games that old school players might not know about. Some of them quite enjoyable.
Another 'plus' with Steam games is that they have Steam forums... and devs from other games are responsive to the questions posed on those forums (at least with the forums on the games I play).
Sorry jagex.. can't put you on my Steam 'wishlist' when I can't even get an answer to such a simple question.

Steam is a gaming platform with numerous games on it. If we place osrs on a platform like this, many people will try it and the community will grow in big numbers. If you download steam you can choose out of thousand games within steam. From free games to expensive games like Call of Duty. I hope i helped you out here and if you have questions just let me know!
