There needs to be a testing phase to your updates from real players. I usually say this on forms on many new updates because the amount of changes that need to come in on the day of or right after. The lack of testing results in bad content on the first day and that's when a majority of players get their idea about the update. Personally I tried the agility and fishing portion of fossil island and couldn't believe how much time I was going to need to waste if I wanted fossils or mermaid tears. The very few times I could get to a chest without someone already at the chest not allowing me to loot, I only got 1 tear and the rest of the times I just failed. I only got to two chests in about an hour. Going the private route wasn't really a sensible option either considering I have to pay 500 namalites or something for the day? I want to do the content but I won't be on all day and will end up wasting my time getting all the namalites just to get tired of the grind in 2 or 3 hours at the most if I'm really enjoying the content. I'm glad you lowered all the costs of items from the mermaid shop because when I took my 2 tears to the shop to see I was going to need to grind out hundreds more all i could do was curse at this game and how this content was created.
I think you guys need to know how to tell Mod Wolf no or something is not a good idea. The Zulrah update pissed off alot of the community because the reasoning made no sense when wintertodt drops every resource abundantly as well as raids completely producing way too many herbs and other raw resources so that argument doesn't make sense in light of other mini game/ bosses. The gay pride thing was fine but a little out of place on runescape, like when do you guys ever put social issues in a game and think it doesn't matter what the players think. I know you're not going to make an Immigration stance and that's how out of place the gay pride feels to most players.
