Hello, it seems Dragon Ceremonial Armor was recently removed from the Antique Chests and Ancient Relic drop tables. I recall with Antique Chests, that each one would give you a piece of the Dragon Ceremonial or Queens Guard armors if you had all the other purple rarity cosmetics, which I do. A few weeks ago I was getting one piece from each Antique Chest, but during the most recent loot duels promo I used 20 Antique Chests (hoping to complete the Dragon Ceremonial Armor set) but didn't get a single piece of that or the Queens Guard outfit. When it comes to the Ancient Relics, I smashed 30 of them but didn't get a single Dragon Ceremonial piece, which could just be RNG but I have my doubts about that.

Could you please re-add the mechanic that gives you a piece of Dragon Ceremonial Armor with every Antique Chest if you already have all the purple rarity cosmetics? Or instead could you please add Dragon Ceremonial Armor to the Oddments Shop? Right now it doesn't seem to be obtainable which is a bummer because I wanted to unlock more pieces of it for an outfit I had planned.

Edit: According to the wiki and players on this thread, Dragon Ceremonial outfit pieces are available from the smashing relics promotion. However, it would be very nice if Jagex could bring back the Loot Duels promotion mechanic I described above :)

Uhh, according to the wiki, its still on the relics DT:

Also going through 30 and not getting a piece isnt that unheard of and more so than not expected.

I mean they are labeled as "rare" for a reason.

Hi Draco! The wiki can sometimes be outdated, especially when it comes to treasure hunter promo stuff. Either way, it'd be nice if they could add back the Antique Chest mechanic I described in the main post. From my other discussions, it seems like they removed the mechanic very recently (just my luck, I always miss things by *that* much).

Well if it is outdated, maybe you should change it so ppl dont get confused.

So until it is, it seems like you can still get it and are just having bad rng.

Once again, opening 30 of them and not getting anything is normal.

IIRC, it could sometimes take me nearly 100 or more to get a single piece.

Eh I don't want to edit the wiki in case I'm wrong, like you and I have both been saying it could just be rng.

My main point isn't about the relic smashing promo anyway. What I'm asking about is to bring back the old Antique Chest Dragon Ceremonial Armor mechanic, or add that equipment to the oddments store. Got my fingers crossed for one of those two things to occur.

By the way, do you know if jmods check the forums? I feel like posting here is basically like talking to yourself lol

How can they bring back something that wasnt removed?

Also in the OP you clearly talk about opening 30 relics so dont say that isnt part of the discussion here when it is.

Ok let's put the smashing relics aside for second, I meant to bring it up as a little side note but it clearly didn't come off that way, my bad. I don't care about what that promo drops nor do I want Jagex to make changes to it. Just to make things super clear, coming straight from the guy who made this post to begin with, here is all I wanted to say:

A few months ago I can confirm this was the case. About two weeks ago I can confirm it is no longer the case. All I want is for them to bring this mechanic back.

I think I've made my point abundantly clear by now, please don't bring up the smashing relics promotion anymore. If you'd like to talk about the loot duels promotion then I'm all ears.

How can you confirm its been removed?

Has jagex themselves stated they did this or that it happen or is just because you got unlucky?

Just because you didnt get it doesnt mean it was removed.

To answer your questions:

It was a treasure hunter mechanic explained on the wiki, and I experienced the mechanic in game exactly like how the wiki said it would work. Now, the wiki says that mechanic doesn't exist anymore, and I can confirm I do not experience it in game.

The loot duels mechanic I'm describing was not luck based. If you had all the other rare cosmetics already, then you were guaranteed a piece of the Dragon Ceremonial or Queens Guard outfit pieces when opening an antique chest.

Given that the wiki said this mechanic existed but is now gone, and that I used to experience this mechanic but no longer do, I think it is safe to say that it was removed.

Just to tie this back to the point of the post, I'm asking that Jagex add this mechanic back to the Loot Duels treasure hunter promotion.
