Some may have noticed on world 49 two player characters, blue and purple, with fairy names. These are both my accounts, except one is normal and the other Ironman. And since they are part of my own roleplaying fantasy fiction, I like them to look similar.

The reason I'm telling you this is because recently I've had my eye on the Rainbow Wings unlocked on Treasure Hunter that can also be bought from the Grand Exchange. I really, really, like it! It fits my characters perfectly! The problem is, I cannot buy it for my Ironman because of trade restrictions.

I would gladly smith and alch 1000 banite platebody +4 just to afford one from GE. And I would argue that since these tokens are purely cosmetic, they wouldn't break the reason for being an Ironman.

So with that said, is it at all possible to make Treasure Hunter cosmetic unlocks available to purchase on the Grand Exchange?

No support.

You chose to be an IM thus you chose to be w/o TH.

Yes these might be cosmetics but once they allow this ppl will start asking for full access to GE so lets not go down that rabbit hole.

Plus since they dont enhance your gameplay, you can just as easily live w/o them.

No support. Solomon's has plenty of cool cosmetics that are an alternative. It's up to jagex if they want to add an in game ironman method of obtaining or partially obtaining the promo items, like thaler or advent calendar.

If GE is strictly not an option, then why make it possible to trade bonds?

Or why not make TH available for Ironman except restrict them to winning only cosmetic items?

Just a silly idea :P

But still, if Ironman can do things like the summer event, where they unlock cosmetics AND 'free' xp from things like sandcastles, then why not something purely cosmetic from TH?
By the way, I have 87 Construction almost entirely from sandcastles.

Bonds are able to be traded on IM as their main purpose is for membership.

It allows IM to be able to still get membership w/o having to use IRL money.

Plus ppl wanted a mode where they didnt have to deal with MTX on rs3 thus why its restricted on IM.

I support, thinking it would be very reasonable for Jagex to make these cosmetic overrides unlockable in some way to ironmen. It doesn't affect the "ironman experience", but I don't see why they should be left out.

I don't see a problem with ironmen having some viable way of obtaining cosmetics like these. :)

Just because something is cosmetic doesnt mean IM should be allowed to break one of their rules.

I mean whats the point in rules to begin with if ppl are always trying to find ways to subvert them?

Ppl really need to start reading whats their getting themselves into before starting a mode.

Ironman mode is the evolved version of self-sustainable/do-it-yourself accounts that were renamed to ironman right around the time Jagex made it an official game mode. As such, the "no trading with other players" is not really what ironman is about, moreso it is about playing the game without the help of other players. You not wanting TH cosmetics to be attainable on a ironman account has nothing to rule integrity but rather you think that it tampers with a nonexistent elite status of ironman. Ironman is a challenge mode to see what you can do on your own, it's not a status symbol and there is no reason to prevent ironman accounts from being able to receive TH tokens in trade as long as it unlocks purely cosmetic items as it doesn't benefit the player in any way.
At the very least, you should be consistent and say that Solomon's general bstore should be disabled for ironman because whatever benefit TH cosmetics give you you can get from SGS.
