Hey,

I never bought these before but this seems like a good deal?
Is it actually a good deal or is it a bit of a trap?

wait what,why are these limited to 40 i think a day?

It's a very good deal. Most players usually wait until they're on sale before they buy them to make their oddments go further. Some people prefer the stars, as they do award a little more experience. However, if you want direct experience, lamps are the way to go.

They used to be unlimited, but Jagex recently added a cap to many of the items in the store.

It seems to be one of the better deals and i do prefer the lamps over the stars myself.
Glad to have picked mine up,they are at 33% now so i guess i will just wait till they are -75% again. Going to check the oddments store a bit more regulary from now on.
To bad the limit is there but its kinda understandable.

Yes, that's intentional.

A handful of promotions limit your ability to use hearts of ice. The current promotion is one of them.

You'll just have to wait until the promotion ends to see if you can freeze the next batch of chests.
