I have mental health issues, specifically with addiction, that makes playing RuneScape with the constant probing by Treasure Hunter particularly difficult. I couldn’t find where to make this request in RuneScape Support so I thought I’d ask here - would it be possible to disable Treasure Hunter on my account?

I support this!!

I mean, every key is a winning prize, but talk about encouraging underaged gambling..

It should most certainly have an option on your website account profile to toggle treasure hunter offers on/off - Even if it means sacrificing the free daily key!

However Jagex's solution to what I have read is to add password protection.. this is more effective for parents with children, prohibiting them use from spending from a 3rd party without a password (iTunes store or google play passwords)

Sadly as far as I'm aware there is no safety for those who unable to maintain self control with their credit card.... Whom unfortunately are the targets of their advertising...
