No treasure hunter opt out?

Hi on twitch stream it was said an opt out on treasure hunter would cause the game to not function properly may I ask why this is the case? Thank you. :) Because the game's function is to make money and anything that potentially incurs less profit is gamebreaking. Hopefully Jagex will remedy this and add treasure hunter to ironman mode soon.

You have the choice not to buy TH keys and not to use the free ones just like you have the choice not to buy any bonds with real money or use any bonds to get membership. There is no need to opt out since everything is optional.

I mean an opt out in the sense you would never see the pop-ups again like buy 75 keys get 75 free. I remember misclicking those pop-ups when I log in. I need my blue charms back.

If you could opt out of TH then Jagex wouldn't be able to try and seduce you to buy TH keys anymore. It's like advertisements, I won't click on them let alone buy something, but if I use an adblocker then most sites will complain about that. Personally I just hope someone makes a 3rd party client that blocks all forms of MTX from being displayed.

If you can opt out of advertisements on TV and radio then how the entertainment industry operates will be totally different. Same story in the entertainment we called Runescape.

Do the TV or radio stations let you opt out?
