RuneScape's Microtransactions are even worse deals than those in most games, but buying TH keys is a new low. They need to be much cheaper.

I personally don't think there's a pricing issue at the moment, but I think the Treasure Hunter needs an overhaul, restructure of the types of promotions, and items.


One thing I feel TH needs is something more added to it, such as perhaps every day there's a sponsored location, and if you do TH there you get better loot. Little things like this would add to it, I feel. RN people don't really go "oh, ima spend money on RS how bout TH keys?", but little things like this you could do could make it more interactive and worthwhile.

Skilling is dead already, beating a dead horse can't possibly cause more harm.


Anyway, I did suggest some ideas to make it worth it without actually decreasing the price.


ATM, I'm curious to see why you think they're good enough. Under what circumstance would you want to buy TH keys over, say, bonds?

I for one spend quite a fair bit on MTX as i want to max simply for the ability to teleport to bosses.

If you would sell me the ability to do that for £100, i'd just pay the £100 and leave the skills alone.
